Alex has over 20 years of experience in development finance and consulting with a strong focus on Africa. During his 8 years with IFU, the Danish development finance fund, he led the fund’s Africa team in investing in and growing early-stage African companies across multiple sectors including energy, manufacturing and service industry. Prior to IFU, Alex worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company and thereafter with Dalberg, assisting private companies and institutions in Europe and Africa with transformational and growth strategies. Alex began his career with UNDP in Ethiopia before moving into strategy consulting. Alex holds an MSc In Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University and an MSc in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London University.
Per Reimer is currently the Founder and CEO of Reimer International. Per has led large international companies at all levels and has vast leadership experience of building successful management teams and executing growth strategies in Europe, Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and the US. His former roles include being COO of Vestergaard Frandsen SA, MD of Mærsk Industry China and SVP of Mærsk Sealand China. Per has broad experience in operating at strategic and executive levels in several areas of the manufacturing industry, shipping and logistics activities as well as retail operations.
Founding Medecins sans Frontieres (Doctors without Borders) in Denmark, Camilla Bredholt is an award-winning humanitarian who has worked on a vast array of projects all around the globe. She has been a board member for various aid foundations and organisations, and currently sits on the board at The Index Project – the “design to improve life” international award and SDG Invest – an investment fund focusing on sustainable investments in global equities. Previously, Camilla was the Chairman of United World Colleges Denmark for over eight years and the Country Director for the Danish chapter of Humanity in Action.
